Once there was a very hungry crocodile.

Kwaliko Iŋwena iyali ne nsala saana.


Inasakira cakudya mosafulumira ndi mwacetecete. Kenako…

He searched for food slowly and quietly. And then…

Yaaleefwaya ifyakulya mumutalalila ukwabula ukupanga icongo. Elyo nomba…


Phoo!!! Ng’ona inagwira!

POW!!! The crocodile strikes!

Wiyu!!! Iŋwena yaikata icakulya!


Kucokera apo njala inathira, ndiponso ali osangalala.

After that he is no longer hungry, and he is happy.

Panuma yakulya, Iŋwena yaikuta kabili yasansamuka.


Mpaka akakhalenso ndi njala.

Until he gets hungry again.

Mpaka yaumfwa insala na kabili.
