Look at the animals.

Mona inama.


Ng’ombe inena kuti “Moo.”

The cow says, “Moo.”

Iŋombe aiti, “Moo.”


Mbuzi inena kuti “Meh, meh.”

The goat says, “Meh, meh.”

Imbushi aiti, “Meh, meh.”


Hosi inena kuti “Nei.”

The horse says, “Neigh.”

Kabalwe ati, “Neei.”


Nkhumba inena kuti “Gruuuu.”

The pig says, “Grunt.”

Inkumba aiti, “Gru, gru.”


Nkhuku inena kuti “Kokoliko.”

The chicken says, “Cluck.”

Inkoko aiti, “Ko, ko, ko.”


Galu anena kuti “Hu, hu, hu.”

The dog says, “Woof.”

Imbwa aiti, “Boo, boo.”


Mlimi anena “Shhh!”

The farmer says, “Shhh!”

Umulimi ati, “Shii!”
