Look at the animals.

Mona inama.


Iŋombe yalila kuti, “moo.”

The cow says, “Moo.”

Iŋombe aiti, “Moo.”


Impongo yalila kuti, “mee, mee.”

The goat says, “Meh, meh.”

Imbushi aiti, “Meh, meh.”


Hhacci lyalila, “nee.”

The horse says, “Neigh.”

Kabalwe ati, “Neei.”


Ngulube yavwuluma kuti, “gulu, gulu.”

The pig says, “Grunt.”

Inkumba aiti, “Gru, gru.”


Inkuku yalila kuti, “kkwiyo.”

The chicken says, “Cluck.”

Inkoko aiti, “Ko, ko, ko.”


Mubwa wakuwa, “hau hau.”

The dog says, “Woof.”

Imbwa aiti, “Boo, boo.”


Mulimi waamba, “shiii!”

The farmer says, “Shhh!”

Umulimi ati, “Shii!”
