I wake up and make fire.

Ndabuuka no kukosha umulilo.

Nakabisha ne mema.

I boil some water.

Ndakafya ameenshi.

Na tetaula nenkunyi.

I chop the firewood.

Ndateba inkuni.

Na kumbaula nemu mpoto.

I stir the pot.

Ndakumba mu mpooto.

Na pyanga nepanshi.

I sweep the floor.
